Sam Roulston is an award winning comedian and actor based in London.
Sam is starring in his first feature film “In A Violent Nature” (out now on Shudder/Amazon Prime). He has appeared on Sky Arts (Diane From Accounts), OUT TV (Live At The Queer Comedy Club), The Comedy Network (The Beaverton) and the CBC (Noodle Boys).
Sam premiered his first solo sketch show, CRINGE at The Toronto Fringe Festival and won The Second City Best New Comedy Award. CRINGE received ★★★★ reviews and was described as “Brilliant” and “Savagely Funny” - Now Magazine. In 2024 Sam was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedian Of The Year. Sam was a Finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian of The Year 2023, Semi Finalist in The Komedia New Comedy Award 2023, The Max Turner Prize 2023, The West End New Comedian Of The Year 2023 and in The Museum of Comedy’s Sketch Off 2023.
Sam performs stand up and improv regularly around London at The Bill Murray (Angel Social Club, Dog Park), 21 Soho (Playdate, This Doesn’t Leave The Room), Vauxhall Comedy Club and The Free Association (Winner). He also performs/teaches at comedy festivals all over the world; some of the most recent festivals include Edinburgh Fringe, Mama City Improv Festival (Capetown), Hell Yes Fest (New Orleans), The Del Close Marathon (New York City), Detroit Improv Festival and Improv Fest Ireland (Dublin).
